Savotta Askare Hip Pack 7 l - Black

A 7-liter hip pack crafted for daily use, tactical purposes, and field operations. Its well-thought-out design guarantees comfortable carrying, efficient organization of equipment, and seamless integration with other gear.

Durable 500D Cordura

The pack is crafted from durable 500D Cordura, known for its high resistance to mechanical damage and abrasions. A rear panel with a soft foam insert guarantees even weight distribution and proper air circulation, enhancing user comfort.

Practical pockets, drainage hole

Within the main compartment, which is secured by a zipper, you'll find 2 flat pockets for documents and accessories, elastic band loops, and attachment points for securing equipment with cords or carabiners, along with a velcro panel. The design also includes a drainage hole. This pack also features an open rear pocket, serving as a storage area for a belt or loops for threading a backpack strap through.

Velcro panel, MOLLE/PALS webbing

Positioned on the front, the velcro panel provides a place for attaching a patch featuring a national flag, unit emblem, or a Morale Patch. The MOLLE/PALS webbing allows for easy mounting of additional gear like pouches, pockets, or containers. Moreover, at the bottom, there is an elastic cord that permits securing a jacket or a sleeping pad.

Adjustable carrying strap, SR buckle

I like this pack so much I have actually purchased another. I have one attached to my kahakka 25L and another one around my waist. It really expands you're carrying capacity substantially. I recommend getting their organiser loops for smaller items but in mine I have bulky items such as a 500ml water filter, Helikon-Tex Supertarp Small and in the other I have a 1L water bottle and and they fit easily. There is a bit of foam also so you never feel anything digging into you if you decide to wear this on your hips and if not there are plenty of attachment points for attaching it to other gear like I've done.

The bag is great – it has plenty of space and is excellently made (from what I’ve read in other reviews, condura should be very durable). It’s comfortable to carry (wide strap, “wings” at the junction and a soft part on the back side). Additionally, the molle system and well-placed holders inside make it easy to adapt to your needs (I use it as a first aid kit). The look of the bag is also a plus: classic, not too flashy, and the color looks just as good as in the pictures. It’s easily suitable for everyday use. At first, the price seemed high, but considering all the advantages, I think it was a good purchase decision. Another plus is that I once suggested this brand was missing in a survey on Militaria, and after a few months it appeared in the offer ;)
