Salewa Puez Altavia Polarlite Hooded Fleece - Faded Green

Fleece in Faded Green, developed as a lightweight insulating layer designed for wear during trekking, hiking, and everyday outdoor activity. The material with a 255 g/m2 grammage provides effective thermal insulation.

The model is made from Polarlite knit fabric. The outer layer stands out with a ribbed surface, while the inner side features a brushed structure with a distinct grid pattern. The fabric delivers a favorable warmth-to-weight ratio and high breathability.

The fleece is made from technical Polarlite knit fabric, combining 95% polyester and 5% elastane. The polyester is 70% recycled and is responsible for the material's low weight, durability, and quick drying. Elastane increases the stretch of the knit fabric and allows it to move with the body during activity.

The 255 g/m2 grammage creates a distinct insulating layer without building a heavy and stiff construction. The fleece can be worn on its own on cooler days or as a mid layer under a protective jacket.

The inner side of the material is formed into a grid pattern. Raised sections of the knit create small spaces where warmed air is retained. Lowered channels between the grid sections facilitate airflow and moisture transport away from the skin.

The construction provides insulation in areas that require thermal protection while limiting the buildup of excess heat during movement. The outer side of the fleece is given a ribbed structure.
