Quest Xpointer Land Handheld Metal Detector - Orange

Handheld pointer-type metal detector designed for quick locating of metal objects in soil, sand, and under water. It meets the IPX7 standard, which protects against immersion in water for 30 minutes at a depth of up to 1 meter. The detector is powered by one standard 9 V battery (not included).

The durable orange ABS plastic housing protects the electronic system against mechanical damage and the effects of weather conditions. The bright color increases the device's visibility in the field, reducing the risk of losing it.

The device allows sensitivity adjustment on a 4-level scale, making it possible to tailor the pinpointer's operation to the type of ground and the nature of the search.

Depending on environmental conditions or individual preferences, the detector can signal object detection in one of three modes:

• audible and vibration simultaneously

Signal intensity increases as you get closer to the target, making it easier to pinpoint its exact location.

The detector operates at a 95 kHz frequency, enabling precise locating of metal objects both under water and on land. The 360 degrees detection range greatly improves object location, and the horizontal positioning of the tip allows a larger area to be scanned in less time.

The model is equipped with a built-in LED flashlight, which supports locating objects under water and in limited visibility. The housing features a ruler in inches, useful when estimating the size of finds.
