Thermal binoculars that allow you to spot objects up to 2,300 meters away, equipped with a built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1,000 meters. This model has a fixed optical magnification of 2.5x and digital magnification in the range of 2.5-20x.
The thermal imager features a thermal sensor with an HD resolution of 1024x768, with a pixel spacing of just 12 µm. The sensor's sensitivity allows it to capture temperature differences of less than 40 mK.
Thelens , with a diameter of 50 mm, provides a bright and vivid image in the daytime. The resulting image is smooth and does not stutter even when using the maximum digital magnification. The thermal lens system has an aperture with a high specification of F/1.0, so that all available thermal signal reaches the sensor. Combined with a highly accurate thermal sensor, it provides high thermal performance.
The external display used is made with AMOLED technology and has a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels.
The device provides 9 image display modes:
- White Hot,
- Black Hot,
- Hot Red,
- RedMonochrome,
- Rainbow,
- Ultramarine,
- Violet,
- Sepia,
- Green.
The Merger LRF XL50 is additionally equipped with the function of video recording and taking pictures. The recordings and photos are stored in the built-in internal memory of 64 GB. The USB-C connector allows for easy and fast data transfer. The built-in WiFi module allows you to connect to a mobile device on which you can run the dedicated StreamVision 2 application. This application allows you to remotely observe the image obtained by the thermal imager, and also allows you to control the binoculars via a smartphone or tablet.
The binoculars are fully waterproof ( IPX7 waterproof rating), can withstand immersion up to 1 meter in one hour, and are fully dustproof.
The binoculars are powered by a replaceable APS3 3200 mAh battery (included) and a built-in 4000 mAh battery, which provide up to 8 h of continuous use. Thanks to a power-saving function, the display is automatically turned off when you move the device away from your eyes.

MILITARY is a premium dealer of Pulsar.
Pulsar is a European brand specializing in thermal imaging technology and digital day/night optics, owned by the Yukon Group and based in Lithuania. Its origins date back to 1991, when a group of enthusiasts began building their first devices at home. Today, the company employs over 1200 people and operates in more than 70 countries. All production takes place in Europe, and the brand has gained recognition for its innovative solutions, such as Dual-Purpose systems, which allow the device to be used as both a monocular and a rifle scope. The modern nature of the offer is emphasized by the Stream Vision 2 application, which allows wireless connection of devices to a phone via Wi-Fi, offering remote control, image transfer, and software updates. In 2005, the Yukon Group was the first to introduce digital night vision devices to the civilian market, marking in a new stage in the development of applied optoelectronics. In 2012, the Quantum model was unveiled – the first mass-produced thermal imaging monocular for civilians, and in 2019, the compact Axion XM30, capable of detecting a human silhouette from a distance of 1350 meters in complete darkness.
