ProTek PT1216 USMC Automatic Watch

Watch with an analog dial designed for professional use in challenging conditions, both underwater and on land. The model features a lightweight watchcase made of carbon composite, automatic Seiko/TMI movement with 24 bearing jewels, and water resistance up to 30 atmospheres (300 m), allowing safe use during diving. Equipped with a Pro-Glo T25 tritium lighting system, ensuring continuous glow for up to 25 years without the need for external light charging.

The watch mechanism is housed in a black case with a diameter of 42 mm made from lightweight carbon composite, characterized by high resistance to damage with low weight. The screw-down crown made of 316L stainless steel with a multi-ring seal system, as well as the steel caseback, ensure high tightness of the construction. The whole achieves water resistance of 300 meters (30 ATM), guaranteeing safe underwater use.

The model is equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel with a 60-click mechanism, allowing precise time monitoring, even during dives. The bezel features clear minute markings at 10-unit intervals. The dial in Desert Sand color is protected by sapphire glass with an anti-reflective coating, reducing light reflections and thus enhancing reading visibility in various lighting conditions.

At 12 o'clock, there is a highlighted marker, including both the index on the dial and the orientation point on the diving bezel. This solution allows for quick reference time determination and enhances reading visibility, especially in low visibility conditions.

The watch is fitted with a screw-in caseback made of high-quality 316L stainless steel, providing high tightness to the construction. Its surface is adorned with an embossed emblem of the United States Marine Corps (USMC).

The model features an automatic Seiko/TMI movement, utilizing wrist movement to wind the mainspring, eliminating the need for a battery. The design based on 24 bearing jewels reduces friction, ensuring stable operation and increased durability of the entire mechanism. The movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and provides about 40-hour power reserve.

The watch uses the tritium-based Pro-Glo T25 illumination system. This solution ensures continuous glow for up to 25 years without external light recharging, offering a significant advantage over traditional luminescent coatings.

The system requires no prior exposure to light, allowing it to maintain full functionality both in complete darkness and underwater. The high glow intensity facilitates quick reading, which is crucial during diving, night operations, and work in limited visibility.

The model features a black rubber strap with a width of 22 mm, finished with a steel buckle. The construction reinforced with a steel tube through which the spring bars pass, enhances durability and resistance to tear. The strap fits well to the wrist, ensuring wearing comfort and effectively preventing the watch from shifting.
