Petromax Cooler Thermal Backpack 17 l - Dark Grey

Thermal backpack in Dark Grey with a capacity of 17 liters, combining the features of a travel cooler with the carrying comfort typical of a classic backpack. The design was developed for field use, where not only maintaining a low temperature matters, but also mobility and freedom of movement. The compact form and carrying system allow supplies to be transported comfortably without the need for heavy and rigid containers.

The model was designed for use with Petromax Cold Pack cooling inserts or ice cubes. In such conditions, the main compartment maintains a temperature of about 8 degrees Celsius for up to 6 days, allowing food and drinks to be stored safely for longer periods without access to power. The Cooler model will perform well during camping trips, longer expeditions, and anywhere self-sufficiency and reducing the need for frequent resupply are important.

The outer layer is made of durable nylon coated with a waterproof TPU layer, which limits moisture penetration and increases resistance to dirt. The material performs well in field conditions, where the backpack may be exposed to contact with wet ground, rain, or mud.

Access to the main compartment is provided from the top by means of a flap closed with a waterproof zipper. This type of solution reduces cooling loss and protects the carried contents from moisture and dirt from the outside. The main compartment can hold Cold Pack cooling inserts or ice cubes, which are responsible for maintaining the low temperature of the stored products.

The inside of the main compartment is lined with foam responsible for maintaining stable thermal insulation. The materials used and the design reduce the risk of leaks created during ice melt, allowing the contents to be transported safely without concern about soaking through.

The backpack is equipped with an extensive pocket system that makes organization easier:

The zippers used in this model are equipped with enlarged pulls, which make operation easier even when wearing gloves or when movement precision is limited. The design is complemented by a top handle and 2 side handles, used for carrying the backpack by hand or for attaching additional gear to it.

The backpack was designed with comfort in mind during extended wear. The back panels are made of resilient foam covered with breathable mesh, which supports air circulation and reduces moisture buildup where it contacts the back.

Adjustable shoulder straps allow the backpack to be fitted to the user's body, while the chest strap stabilizes it during movement, which is especially important when marching with a heavier load.
