Durable sleeping bag featuring Greek Lizard camouflage, crafted in a rectangular, envelope shape to offer comfort and freedom of movement while sleeping. Constructed from high-quality polyester, it boasts a robust outer layer and synthetic filling that ensures effective insulation.

Temperatures and usage conditions

The Pentagon Major sleeping bag's operating temperatures are identified according to the EN 13537 standard:

  • T-comfort: +15 C - the minimum temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the night.
  • T-limit: +10 C - the lowest temperature where a man can sleep through the night without experiencing discomfort.
  • T-extreme: +5 C - the absolute lowest temperature where survival in the sleeping bag is feasible, though not advised for typical use.

Durable polyester, Hollow Fiber filling

The exterior is crafted from robust 170T polyester, and the interior is lined with 190T Pongee polyester. Effective thermal insulation is provided by a synthetic Hollow Fiber filling weighing 220 g/m2. The quilting ensures the filling remains evenly distributed throughout the sleeping bag.

Right-side zipper

The model features a zipper located on the right side, which allows for complete opening and easy entry and exit.

Integrated hood for cold protection

The integrated hood boosts thermal insulation by enveloping the head and minimizing heat loss in cold environments. With its ergonomic design, it also delivers extra protection against wind and moisture.

Convenient transport and storage

Compact dimensions make it convenient to carry and store. When folded, the sleeping bag measures 35 x 24 cm and weighs 1050 g, ensuring it doesn't overly burden your equipment.

Camouflage Greek Lizard

Greek Lizard is the standard camouflage pattern used by the Greek Armed Forces, derived directly from the French Lizard pattern (Tap47) used extensively in the mid-20th century. The Greek version was adapted and developed for the particular climate and terrain of Greece - mainly mountainous, rocky and low vegetation terrain. The Greek Lizard camouflage consists of horizontal, irregular stripes in shades of olive green, brown and black placed on a lighter background - usually sand or light green. The pattern preserves the distinctive striped layout of the French original, but its color scheme has been adapted to Mediterranean conditions. The Greek Lizard was the basic pattern of Greek field uniforms for decades and still remains in use today, especially in ground troops.

    This is another Pentagon sleeping bag, this time the Sentinel model. I also have the Major, which works great. The Sentinel is much smaller and lighter, after compression it's about 24/25 cm, which I think is a great size. Besides that, the sleeping bag is very comfortable, warm, in a nice color, and doesn't restrict movement. I think it will last a long time. I recommend it with a clear conscience.
