After much searching, I decided on this jacket as a complement to the Pentagon fleece. The jacket itself provides decent warmth, and when combined with the fleece, it is very warm. It has large, insulated pockets and a full-size, insulated hood, which is a big plus. Unfortunately, the drawback is the main zipper—it sometimes takes a few tries to fasten it, although once it's closed, it works well; it's also nice that you can unzip it from the bottom. Aside from the zipper, the jacket would be nearly perfect. At a height of 188 cm and weight of 95 kg, size XL is ideal, and there is also room for an extra fleece for very cold weather.

Useful size information: I am 170 cm tall, weigh 110 kg, and I chose size L. The jacket fits well even over a short-sleeve shirt, doesn't restrict movement, and doesn't feel too tight. The length is right, and the sleeves are a bit longer, but that's not a problem—they end at the bend of the thumb. I think if I weighed 15 kg less, size M would fit perfectly.

This all in one jacket is too warm for temperatures above 3c, but perfect below 0c, keeps me very warm. I have used it in -2 wind driven sleet and believe it will be perfect for winter, especially as Pentagon claim it’s comfortable to wear down to -10 degrees. So far I have only worn a base layer underneath, but it is loose enough to Fit a light fleece under to further increases the use. As for the jacket itself, it is well made, fits well, the pockets o the outside are large enough to fit game in. A zipped pocket on each shoulder is handy for small items. One large and deep inside pocket with a second phone pocket built in. A good strong two way front zip. The collar is high and lined with fleece. The hood, which can be tucked into the collar, was also carefully designed and is not just made of thin material – compared to competitors, this is a big advantage. For example, when I fastened the jacket up to the collar, the collar pressed is snug , but after I took the hood out, that discomfort disappeared,. As does your head in this warm well insulated hood. I’m 168cm tall, medium build and the size Medium jacket is true to size. I genuinely recommend it
