The hat is well made, with no unnecessary features. I chose the olive color, which matches my other accessories like gloves and a scarf. It performed well in frost down to -15/-18°C, and it really is warm. Unfortunately, after just a few days, the material on the back at the bottom of the hat, where it comes in contact with the jacket collar, started to pill. However, that's not the most important thing – what matters more is that the hat is truly versatile, but the size is smaller than I expected. I have a fairly average or even small head circumference, but still the hat often slips off my head, exposing my ears, and after a while it's sitting on top of my head. I've been constantly adjusting and pulling it down for several days, but nothing changes. I'm writing this so that people with a larger head circumference think carefully before buying, or are prepared for frequent adjustments like I have to do.
