The Era model is made from a fabric that is a blend of airy cotton (35%) and durable polyester (65%). The material is characterized by abrasion- and tear-resistant Rip-Stop weave. Inside there is a lining that effectively wicks away moisture. Mesh panels are placed at the back to provide ventilation, making the cap suitable for wearing during hot summer days.

Woodland, also known as U.S. Woodland or M81, is a classic camouflage pattern introduced to the US Armed Forces in the early 1980s, based on the earlier ERDL camouflage. For over two decades, it remained the standard pattern used by the US military until the end of the first decade of the 21st century.
