The fleece is of medium thickness, made of decent material, and finished very carefully — the Pentagon brand really maintains a high standard :-). This is not my first product from this company, and I have been very satisfied with every one of them. I bought size S, and at 176 cm tall and 79 kg, it fits me perfectly. Due to its fabric weight, it won’t work as a very warm sweatshirt for severe frost, but on warmer days it can be worn on its own, and when it gets cooler it works great as a mid-layer under a softshell or another jacket. The color matches what is shown in the photo, and after washing the fleece loses neither its properties nor its color. I managed to buy it as an end-of-line item, so I’m even more pleased with the price. I definitely recommend it.

I bought this fleece sweatshirt for the colder months, and it is exactly what I was looking for. It is incredibly warm, so even in lower temperatures I stay pleasantly warm. The comfort and softness of the material pleasantly surprised me—it does not feel tight at all when worn and fits the body very well. I have enough pockets for small items that I like to keep close at hand, and they are well placed. I like the color, and it suits my taste, so I am happy to wear it in everyday life as well. Overall, I have no complaints—it is a great investment for a long time.

The fleece is really warm, which is a big advantage, and at the same time it's not heavy. It lets the wind through, but that's to be expected from a fleece – for wind protection there's a softshell, which pairs great with it. The only thing I miss is a Velcro strap or more stretchable sleeves, as I like to pull them up to my elbows, but in this case, they stop halfway up the forearm. Despite this, I definitely recommend it.

I picked up the Athos Fleece specifically to use alongside my Gen V3.0 and the two together represent exceptional value for the quality you’re getting. Highly recommend.

Great fleece for people looking for a civilian-style fleece. I’ve been looking for a very warm, civilian-style fleece for a while—so no velcro patches, with a nice color and most importantly, a good fit. I first tried the Ajax fleece from Pentagon, which has the advantage of being 385 g/m2 but fits really poorly (for example, the neck opening on the Ajax model is made for three necks). This model only has a 280 g/m2 fleece, which is a bit too light for my taste, but since it fits well, there's not much heat loss. I’m happy with my purchase because it's very difficult to find a good fleece that meets these criteria. Still, for me, the perfect fleece would be one that's 400 or even 450 g/m2 with the same cut as this one, in a solid color if possible (without the black pocket) and without velcro patch support (which is the case here). So I'm throwing a bottle into the sea, hoping that one day a manufacturer will offer a civilian-style fleece that meets all these criteria!

The fleece is made of pleasant-to-touch material. It's a pity there's no ventilation under the arms. I highly recommend it. The color matches the description, and the materials have practical solutions and a modern look.

Great and warm fleece sweatshirt, the material is very pleasant to the touch and comfortable to wear. The zippers are solid and work flawlessly. The color is a deep, beautiful black. I think this fleece is worth its price.

My trust in Pentagon products keeps growing. This fleece has only reinforced my conviction that this brand cares about its customers. The fleece is excellent – very warm and pleasant to the touch, with roomy pockets. The cuffs on the sleeves are comfortable and don't squeeze, so the wrists don't look imprinted. An added bonus is the practical drawstrings at the bottom of the sweatshirt. The only thing I miss a bit is an internal pocket, but its absence doesn't significantly affect my very high opinion of this product. I am 194 cm tall, weigh 108 kg, and have a 114 cm chest – size XL fits perfectly: it's neither tight nor too loose. I highly recommend it!

A solid and warm fleece, true to the size chart. Unfortunately, it's hard for slim people with broad shoulders to find the right size. At 182 cm tall, a chest circumference of 102 cm, and weighing 65 kg, size S is too tight in the shoulders but fits well at the waist. Size M fits in the shoulders but is too loose and baggy in the torso.

Great, warm fleece works well as a lining for the Hercules jacket even at -15°C.

Good fleece, worth buying.
