Pentagon Arcadian Vest - RAL7013
A warm vest with a zip and a high collar, made entirely from nylon in RAL7013, additionally reinforced with Rip-Stop weave and filled with a synthetic insulation. The relaxed fit allows for a full range of motion, while the cut adapts to the shape of your body.
Durable material, quilted design
The outer shell is made from dense nylon, known for its high durability and increased resistance to moisture. The Rip-Stop weave helps prevent abrasions and tears. Inside, there is a lightweight synthetic filling with a grammage of 80 g/m2 that effectively protects your torso from the cold. The quilted construction keeps the insulation evenly distributed, improving thermal efficiency. The interior is finished with a nylon lining that feels soft and pleasant to the touch.
Zip closure and high collar
The main closure is a zip with a cover that protects against wind and moisture. The zipper ends in a protective flap to prevent irritation to your chin. The high collar shields your neck from wind and enhances thermal protection. At the bottom, there's an adjustable drawstring to help keep warmth in.
Four convenient pockets
The vest features four zippered pockets:
- one at the chest,
- one inside,
- and two at the hips.
The hip pockets provide a place to keep your hands warm. They are lined with fleece to help retain heat and warm your hands quickly. The vest is compressible and can be packed into the left chest pocket, making it easy to carry.
MJC system
The vest is compatible with the MJC system (Multiple Jackets Compatibility), so it can be used as a zip-in layer in jackets designed for this system.

Although the description suggests it is filled with soft down, the inside is actually synthetic insulation (80Gsm polyester), but the vest is still very warm and comfortable. The outer material attracts dirt a bit, likely due to its durability. I tried to pack the vest into the chest pocket and was unable to do so, even though there are descriptions saying it’s possible. An additional plus is the drawstrings at the bottom, which prevent drafts. I recommend the product!

Fantastic vest! Excellent craftsmanship, the pockets are very spacious! I ordered one, but after trying it on I immediately bought a second one in a different color. The vest is exceptionally warm and protects against water. I was caught in heavy rain and the jacket performed great – I just shook it off and it was dry. Highly recommend!
