Omegon N 114/900 EQ-1 Telescope

Reflector telescope with a parabolic mirror of 114 mm diameter and 900 mm focal length, equipped with a 1.25" diameter focuser. This model is suitable for both beginners and more advanced users. Its short focal length provides a wide view, which is important during observation, allowing easy aiming and tracking of celestial objects with the telescope.

The lens with an aperture of 114 mm and a focal length of 900 mm delivers bright and sharp images at magnifications from 16x to 228x. The moderate lens speed of f/7.9 ensures well-balanced sharpness across the entire field of view. The lenses are coated with anti-reflective coatings, enhancing contrast and image brightness. The stellar range reaches 12.1 magnitude, which allows for distant and clear observations. The set includes two Kellner eyepieces:

• K 25 mm - offering 36x magnification
• K 10 mm - providing 90x magnification

Newtonian telescope type, whose main advantage is the large 114 mm diameter mirror. This is a key element of the telescope, determining its observational capabilities. This model collects about 270 times more light than the human eye at night. The size of the mirror also translates into optical resolution, enabling star separation.

The telescope features an eyepiece focuser that allows the use of 1.25" eyepieces. The focuser body includes a standard mount for a 6x30 optical finder.

The EQ-1 parallactic mount with micromotion allows the telescope to be positioned according to an atlas or sky map and to move smoothly in the axis of rectascension and declination. The mount needs to be properly adjusted and aligned with the north pole of the sky, making it easy to operate the telescope. In addition, it is equipped with height adjustment from 70 cm to 120 cm.
