Ballistic glasses from the American company Oakley, model SI Ballistic Crosshair Gunmetal. Modeled after the popular "aviator" glasses, they are made of polycarbonate and C-5 alloy. The glasses meet the requirements of ballistic standards MIL PRF-31013, Clause 4.3.3.3.1 and ANSI Z87.1-2010 standards (Clause 6.2.2, Clause 5.1.4).

The frames of the glasses are made of durable C-5 alloy. Unobtainium® material with hydrophilic properties is used on the temples and nose pad, thanks to which the glasses stay securely on the wearer's face.

The low profile of the frames allows them to be used with hearing protectors and communication sets, and they are also compatible with night vision devices.

The visors are made of Plutonite® polycarbonate, which, combined with High Definition Optics (HDO®) technology, guarantees high optical quality. The outside has been coated with Hard Coating to protect the glasses from scratches, and a layer of flame-retardant anti-fog has also been applied to the visors. The Grey tinted visor has a visible light transmission of 18%, is designed for use in medium to bright light conditions, and meets MCEPS requirements for neutrality and chromaticity. The visor's neutral contrast will perform well on sunny days.

The set along with the glasses also includes a microfiber pouch for storing and cleaning them, and a rigid case with the manufacturer's logo.

Oakley

MILITARY is a premium dealer of Oakley.

Oakley is an American brand founded in 1975 by Jim Jannard, which for years has set the standard in sports eyewear and optical technology. The breakthrough was the launch of the O-Frame goggles in 1980 - they quickly gained recognition in motocross and winter sports. The brand also made a name for itself with innovative eyewear models such as Eyeshades, Frogskins and M Frame - the latter were approved by the US Army under the APEL system and introduced into official military equipment. Oakley designs its products in collaboration with professionals, testing them in extreme conditions, both sport and operational. In 2010, it provided specialized safety glasses for miners rescued from a collapsed mine in Chile, helping to protect their eyesight after a prolonged stay underground. With more than 600 patents and the support of the Luxottica Group (since 2007), the brand has become a global leader in the advanced sports accessories and optical solutions sector.
