This is my first detector, but its operation and setup are simple, requiring no special skills—just a bit of learning and practice to achieve good results. A positive first impression, and before purchasing, I read many reviews and was not disappointed. The device does not discourage beginners; a few online videos are enough to start your adventure with detecting.

A modern and easy-to-use metal detector that can be used both on land and underwater. The Legend LD30 model is a new, redesigned version of the unit. The IP68 waterproof rating allows the metal detector to be fully submerged up to three metres and provides complete dust and dirt resistance.
On the new version of The Legend, the coil and armrest are lighter and the centre pillar has been made from carbon fibre, resulting in a lighter weight for the entire unit. In addition, the design changes have significantly improved the ergonomics when working with the detector.
The unit can operate in four modes (Field, Park, Gold Fields, Beach) with several single frequency options of 4 kHz, 10 kHz, 15 kHz, 20 kHz, 40 kHz and a Multi-Frequency mode. Built-in frequency detuning allows the elimination of EMI (electromagnetic) interference. An advanced beach mode facilitates detection of finds in dry sand, wet sand and also underwater. In addition to the useful 60 audio tones, the unit additionally indicates the detection of a find by vibration.
The detector is powered by a built-in 5050 mAh LiPo battery allowing up to 20 hours of operation. It has the ability to be additionally powered by an external battery or PowerBank while searching.

The detector works great – after switching from the S+ to The Legend and doing some field tests, I have only good impressions. The device operates stably and quietly. It's lightweight, distinguishes objects well, and has a large range. The construction appears to be durable. The only thing is the ID scale up to 60 seems a bit unusual for now, but it's probably just a matter of getting used to it. Also, the shipping was lightning fast – I ordered in the evening and the device arrived the next day. Highly recommend!
