It works great to keep in the car just in case. It folds up, so it doesn’t take up too much space. It’s not particularly heavy either, and at the same time it seems quite sturdy.

Review summary
Automatically prepared based on reviews
This folding shovel stands out for its compact size, light weight, and ease of use. Users appreciate its solid construction, durability, and practical value in a vehicle, especially for winter situations like snow or mud. The included case and the ability to fit it in a backpack add to its convenience. Some reviews note that plastic parts may break during heavy-duty use. It’s a good option for occasional and light tasks, but for frequent or demanding work, a sturdier model is recommended.

Great gear that works well both for setting up a campsite in the woods with friends and for preparing a spot on the beach with your family. When you use this entrenching tool to secure a beach windbreak, no wind will bother it ;) I recommend it.

The handle could be a bit more comfortable, but the product is lightweight, practical, and foldable. It came in handy just a few days after purchase :) Since then, I’ve been keeping it in the car all the time. It’s definitely worth recommending.

Durable, compact, and convenient to use. It folds easily, sometimes even too easily. It can fold up on its own while digging, so it's worth tightening it more than you might think.

I took this folding shovel for my car and for trips because I wanted something compact “just in case.” It folds up well, takes up little space, and doesn't get in the way in the trunk. It works fine on soft ground, sand, and snow: digging out a wheel, clearing a spot for a tent, digging a pit for a campfire – all doable. But as soon as the ground is hard or rocky, it's obvious that this is a folding construction. If you use it as a lever, you start to notice some play and get nervous, so I dig calmly and without too much force. After using it in dirt, it’s best to rinse and dry it right away, because sand gets into the hinge and then everything moves more stiffly. Overall, the shovel is good as a compact tool for a car or camping. It doesn’t replace a full-size one, but for its intended tasks, it comes in handy.

It looks durable, it's easy to assemble, and the case is an additional plus. The shovel is lightweight and takes up little space. Although it's small, it's comfortable to use. It's not a replacement for professional tools, but it's perfect for emergencies.

It proved useful during winter when I had to dig out my car. Thanks to its foldable design, it doesn't take up much space in the trunk, and it's also well-made. The price matches the quality.
-
Very good entrenching tool, when folded it is very convenient for transport. After an intense season of digging Dakota-type campfires, it still works great, there is no play or signs of wear.
-
Great thing for winter, it helped me get out of the forest when I got stuck with my car. It's compact, solid, and the price is reasonable.

Unfortunately, the entrenching tool failed when I tried to dig in harder soil because the plastic cap got damaged. Poor idea to make a key part out of plastic.
-
The entrenching tool broke on the very first day in the field – the plastic cap cracked, and the sheet metal deforms easily when encountering obstacles. I do not recommend this product.

The entrenching tool is well made and even fits in a backpack (tested during airsoft games). I recommend it because similar products of this class are often more expensive. Perfect for the car.
