Very good equipment both for beginners and more experienced users. The Nokta Simplex Lite is lightweight, easy to use, and surprisingly effective. It's waterproof, solidly built, and a lot of fun to use out in the field.
Nokta Simplex Lite metal detector
The Simplex Lite is a metal detector equipped with a waterproof DD coil measuring 9.5 x 6", designed for use in demanding weather conditions and underwater up to a depth of 3 meters. The device features 4 operating modes: Field, Park, Beach, and All Metal, working at a frequency of 15 kHz.
Selective discrimination, Pinpoint function
The frequency shift option allows for the reduction of electromagnetic interference (EMI). The advanced beach mode supports effective detection in dry and wet sand as well as underwater. Selective discrimination makes it possible to exclude unwanted objects from search results. 30-level sensitivity adjustment allows for tuning the sensitivity to the type of soil and detected items. Targets are signaled with sound and vibrations, and the estimated depth is displayed on the screen. The Pinpoint function enables precise object localization.
LCD display, backlit buttons, Li-Ion battery
Monochrome LCD display and backlit buttons ensure comfortable operation in low light. A built-in LED flashlight allows for searching after dark. Power is supplied by a built-in 2300 mAh Li-Ion battery, providing up to 12 hours of operation. Full charging takes about 4 hours via the included USB cable. A PowerBank can be connected to extend operating time in the field.
Waterproof coil, robust and lightweight design
IP68 protection rating ensures full resistance to submersion up to 3 meters. The shaft is made of lightweight yet durable aluminum and plastic, with adjustable length. The Simplex Lite model can be used with wired headphones thanks to the built-in jack socket.

Great metal detector, excellent for starting out in this hobby. The price is affordable, the device is lightweight yet advanced. I am very satisfied with the purchase and honestly recommend it.

The detector is of good quality. It has everything a beginner needs. It's lightweight and compact when folded. The programs are more than enough for basic searching, and operation is very intuitive. Of course, fully understanding the device’s possibilities requires many hours in the field—the manual cannot replace that. It's worth watching instructional videos online. The battery lasts for two outings and charges relatively quickly.

I bought the detector almost a year ago, so I have quite a bit of experience using it. Pros: the best in this price range, lightweight (though slightly heavier than models with a larger coil), good quality plastic, clear manual, user-friendly menu for beginners, several operating modes—the field mode is the most useful, nice device for the first season, battery lasts for two long outings. Cons: despite the iron discrimination function, the detector often detects this metal; most signals are for aluminum—it is very sensitive to this material; coin detection is difficult, as only a specific value clearly indicates a coin; less effective compared to more expensive models, maximum depth is 30 cm, it detects nothing deeper, the small coil tires the hand, lacks a protective screen cover. In summary: great device for starting out, but after a season you might want something more advanced.

This is the perfect detector for beginners. Easy to use, great for finding your first hidden treasures in the ground. I recommend it to everyone.

The Nokta Simplex Lite is a great choice for those starting their treasure hunting adventure. Easy to use, it offers good features at an attractive price. More experienced users, however, may want to consider purchasing a more advanced model.

Tested – the manual is written clearly and in detail, it’s easy to assemble all the elements, and most importantly – the device works. I’ll test it out in the field on Saturday :)

The device is very lightweight, well-balanced, and stable – it does not generate false signals. Very easy to use. It charges quickly, in about 3 hours. The lack of a charger plug is not an issue. According to the manual, the battery should last 12 hours—I haven’t checked yet, but after almost an hour of use, only one bar dropped. The set includes a charger without a plug, a headphone adapter, and two manuals (in Polish and English). It folds and unfolds quickly, the armrest is adjustable. Overall, I recommend it: a good product for not much money.
