Njord Huldra Damast Medium Axe
A versatile axe featuring a hand-forged damast steel head and a rosewood handle. It is ideal for bushcraft, such as building a shelter, preparing wood for a fire, as well as for lighter carpentry work in the garden. The design of the axe was inspired by patterns used by the Vikings.
Damast steel
The blade is made of hand-forged damast steel, whose characteristic pattern is created by forging multiple layers of metal.
Rosewood, waterproofing with wax and oil
The contoured handle is made of rosewood, which has been further waterproofed with beeswax and linseed oil to protect the wood from moisture and mold growth.
Set elements
Included is a handmade leather sheath with a belt loop that allows the axe to be worn comfortably at the belt.
