Nite Ize is an American company from Colorado whose history dates back to 1989, when student Rick Case accidentally dropped the flashlight he was holding in his mouth while night fishing. This situation inspired him to create the Headband Mini Flashlight Holder. Today, the brand's range includes more than 500 innovative EDC accessories, valued for their practical approach to everyday challenges. Nite Ize's reputation was established by the S-Biner, a distinctive double-sided carabiner that gained the status of an icon of functional design, compared to classics such as the Coca-Cola bottle. In 2024, the company received a unique three-dimensional trademark protecting the shape of the S-Biner. Flagship products include Gear Tie, flexible, reusable ties for organizing cables, and Tru Zip, an innovative waterproof zipper without classic teeth. Both solutions perfectly illustrate the brand's design approach: transforming everyday inconveniences into simple, clever tools. Currently, the Nite Ize team has around 250 employees, and the company generates annual revenue exceeding 100 million dollars, operating in markets worldwide.

I bought it out of curiosity as an interesting gadget. It's great for learning and testing various mounting methods. So far, I've tested it with a load up to 45 kg and there has been no deformation. Its small size makes it easy to pack into a backpack for a trip, where you barely notice you're carrying it.
