Although the Mivardi Carryall Entrix XL is a gear bag originally designed for fishing, it works perfectly for me as a car emergency kit during the summer thanks to its large capacity, sturdy construction, and weather resistance. Priced at around 40 euros, it offers excellent value for money compared to expensive tactical bags. It is built to last and keeps gear dry even if liquid leaks into the trunk. The bag features a removable semi-rigid plastic base plate and reinforced pocket edges, meaning it retains its shape perfectly and doesn’t collapse even when empty. In addition to the large main compartment, the bag has four spacious exterior pockets where you can quickly access essential items for emergencies (such as a flashlight and tow rope) separately from other belongings, all secured by high-quality, two-way zippers. The large side pockets are perfect for a first-aid kit, thermal blankets, an emergency sleeping bag, and more. The front pockets offer plenty of space for tools, a backup power source, and lighting, among other items. It’s great for my car because it fits neatly in the trunk without taking up too much space, yet it can still hold a huge amount of gear.

The bag is very spacious. The bottom is quite soft, so I added reinforcement from an old bag, but it would have been fine without it. The four external pockets are very practical – I keep smaller items in them. Although I was originally looking for a bag with compartments inside, these pockets actually work even better because you can quickly grab what you need.
