Recycled polyester
The entire jacket is made from recycled polyester. The lightweight 3-layer construction reduces garment weight while still providing effective protection against rain and wind. The outer layer is treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating that repels moisture and dirt.
Gore-Tex membrane, taped seams
Protection against harsh weather conditions is based on the Gore-Tex ePE membrane, which effectively blocks water and wind while allowing moisture vapor to escape during exertion. All seams are taped, providing high-level protection from soaking even in heavy downpours.

DWR (Durable Water Repellency) is a durable waterproofing treatment that increases the surface tension of water and creates a hydrophobic coating on materials. It protects the material from rapid soaking, improves drying, provides stain resistance and increases breathability.
Gore-Tex is a thin membrane made of polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), which features a microporous structure. Its structure makes it highly water- and wind-resistant, as well as breathable. The membrane's pores are 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor, which allows it to efficiently wick moisture to the outside. Gore-Tex is widely used in the production of outdoor clothing and footwear.
