This backpack has many features that, depending on your use, can be either disadvantages or advantages. For me, there are definitely more pros. I bought the backpack to carry a small packraft and the items needed for rafting. I wanted it to be possible to throw it on wet grass, mud, sand, and not worry about dirt or expensive gear (which can be much more costly than the backpack itself). Overall – it performed very well. Pros: - Spacious, regular compartment, real 35L capacity here is more than 40L in a tourist backpack, - Boxy shape, so the backpack stands stably; it’s easy to unpack from the top even when standing in sand or grass, - Molle system, - Thick, rubbery material, very practical for outdoor conditions, - Compression straps with the option to attach e.g., folding paddles, - Tight closure. Cons: - Not as comfortable as typical tourist backpacks, mainly due to lack of a proper hip belt – the existing strap tends to loosen while carrying and you have to adjust it often (maybe I just don’t know how to handle it properly). But it’s not dramatic. Overall, I recommend it, but you need to know what you want to use it for – it’s a specific piece of gear. The color is lighter than in store photos; in person it looks even better (see attached photo).
Mil-Tec waterproof backpack with a capacity of 35 liters. Constructed with a cover made from PVC and polyester, and lined with polyethylene foam for enhanced durability.
Its design and closure method ensure excellent water resistance for the backpack. When closed as per manufacturer guidelines, the backpack remains watertight even during brief submersion.
PALS webbing is featured on the front and sides of the backpack, enabling attachment of MOLLE system-compatible tactical gear. Side straps offer the ability to compress the backpack or secure additional items. D-rings on the suspenders serve as extra attachment points.
Comfort for transporting significant amounts of gear is ensured by padded suspenders and an adjustable chest strap.
A Velcro panel offers customization with patches or emblems, and the backpack includes a Mil-Tec logo patch.

The backpack is roomy, has one compartment, is completely waterproof and durable. It easily fits a folded foam sleeping pad with a width of 50 cm. The straps are comfortable, and the hip belt is rather symbolic – it doesn't relieve the back, but helps stabilize the backpack during movement. The weight may seem higher than with other backpacks of similar capacity, but the material is very durable, and numerous molle attachments further strengthen the construction. This is another backpack for my BOB set, this time expanded with a sleeping pad and sleeping bag.

Fantastic. + Waterproof – you don’t need additional covers, which don’t protect the whole backpack anyway. + Very solid, made from thick PVC like a tarp, hard to damage, easy to clean, repairs are simple and quick. + The molle system – simply great. + Quite comfortable: wide, adjustable straps plus hip and chest belts. I use it during hikes, canoe and packraft trips, picnics, and river crossings. Thanks to its simplicity and durability, it’s ideal. The molle lets you expand the backpack with extra pouches or pockets as you like. Even though it’s Mil-Tec, it’s the best backpack I’ve ever had and meets all my expectations.

I bought this backpack with the idea of using it as a bug-out bag for documents and other important, valuable items. + It has one large compartment that can fit a folder, binder, or items of unusual sizes. + It passed the test with a hose – it doesn’t let water through. + Soft back and light reinforcement make it reasonably comfortable to carry for some time. + Plenty of well-placed molle points, which allow you to attach various things outside. - Definitely noticeable rubber smell, which almost completely disappears after a few weeks of airing out. - It’s spacious but has only one pocket – you need an additional organizer for small items. - Due to solid waterproofing, it’s quite stiff and hard to use. - Quite heavy. Best suited for quick evacuations or short trips in tough conditions; for daily use or long hikes, the weight doesn’t make sense. +- According to other people, it’s great for kayaks – in my opinion, the size and weight would bother me there, but for a bigger kayak it could work. In summary: a good solution for a flood/fire emergency backpack, or for trips in very wet conditions or for winter camping under the open sky. For very long hikes, it’s not suitable – too heavy, stiff, and not very handy.

I just received the package. The backpack has a faint rubber smell, but it should air out. As for structure and use – it probably won’t work as a typical city backpack, as it only has one compartment. I bought it with the intention of carrying field communication equipment on a motorcycle, and for this, it will be ideal: the shape allows you to pack various boxes and angular things, and the molle lets you attach smaller accessories. It looks very solid, the carrying straps are fine, although I don’t plan long marches with it, but it’s comfortable and has a simple hip belt. The price could be a bit lower, but in this category there aren’t many options – it’s not an ordinary dry bag, but a solid backpack made of thick rubber. Time will tell how it performs in the field; for now, in terms of workmanship, I have no complaints. Too bad there isn’t even a shallow pocket in front for flat items – the molle is attached directly to the main bag, on a welded patch that is separated inside. Maybe I’ll manage to add an inner pocket and closure, to keep it watertight.

Very interesting backpack, although quite unusual. Fantastic for kayaking – genuinely waterproof. I’m not sure if it floats on water, and if so, for how long. Its unusual aspect is that it’s something between a dry bag and a classic backpack. Not very suitable for typical expeditions, because having only one compartment can be inconvenient. For kayaking – great, it does its job, although a regular waterproof bag costs a fraction of the price. I’m keeping it mostly because of the side straps, which let you attach a first aid kit, toiletries bag, or water bottle. But is the convenience of those straps really worth a tenfold higher price? That’s up to the user. In summary: the product is fine if you know exactly what you’re looking for and price is not an issue.

I recommend this backpack – it's comfortable, spacious, and most importantly: truly waterproof.
