The blanket resembles old, worn felt – it is thin and has an unpleasant smell of kerosene. I don't understand how Militaria can offer such a product for sale. I have never encountered anything like it before. I wonder how anyone could rate this blanket as thick and warm.

The blanket is really great, I tested it during a campfire in the woods and it works really well—it protects well against the cold, and depending on how you lay it out, you can warm up by the fire or insulate your knees if it gets too warm. The wool effectively protects against moisture and doesn't soak through even if snow sticks to it. As for the smell, you just need to wash the blanket—it's nothing difficult.

The blanket is large and heavy, well sewn, and despite the presence of wool, it does not cause discomfort on the skin. It has a bit of a warehouse smell, reminiscent of grease, but it should air out in the open air. The large, embroidered 22x22 cm symbol in the center looks impressive. I recommend it, although it's a pity that only 65% is wool.

I definitely do not recommend buying it. The blanket is heavy and unpleasant, which could be accepted if not for the very intense, repulsive smell and unpleasant texture. What you don't see in the photos – there is a large 'US ARMY' embroidery in the center. Although the military theme is maintained, such an inscription doesn't quite fit a blanket that would be suitable, for example, for the beach or a slope. It looks more like a gadget than a decent wool blanket.

The blanket is thick, sturdy, and provides a lot of warmth. Exactly as I expected. It perfectly captures the military character and will work great when camping in nature. The color matches perfectly. I recommend it to anyone looking for a wool blanket.
