Mil-Tec US Rip-Stop Poncho - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland
Rain poncho in wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage, made from Rip-Stop woven nylon, characterized by low weight while maintaining increased mechanical resistance. The interior surface is covered with a rubber coating to enhance sealant properties and limit water penetration.
Taped seams, adjustable hood
The seams are taped with sealing tape, which minimizes the risk of leaks at material joints. The hood is equipped with a regulation drawstring allowing for adjustment to the head circumference and stabilization in the wind. On the edges, there are metal eyelets and snaps that allow for joining 2 ponchos or opening the material to create a larger tarp.
Universal fit, compact dimensions when folded
Universal fit effectively covers the entire user's silhouette along with a backpack. The design allows for using the poncho as an emergency shelter by unfolding and hanging the material with ropes. When folded, it takes up a limited transport space, allowing it to be carried in a backpack pocket.

The wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage pattern is currently employed by the Polish Armed Forces. It represents the first camouflage pattern created and widely adopted in the Third Polish Republic. Featuring a combination of mimetic and deformative characteristics, the 1993 pattern utilizes irregularly shaped spots of various sizes. Designed with a color scheme of green, brown, and black, it is perfectly suited to the landscapes of Polish forests, making Pantera ideal for missions in local environments. Rip-Stop
Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.

Despite negative opinions about this company, I decided to buy something from them again because of the camouflage (phantomleaf made the pattern available to only two companies, including Mil-Tec). To my surprise, I'm not disappointed. After sealing the seams on the hood, the poncho doesn't leak, it's very large, and the buttons seem sturdy. However, the cover fell apart immediately – the seams gave way at the first use. Aside from the weak cover and lack of sealed seams, the poncho is really comfortable. For greater convenience, I recommend waterproofing it with spray (the material is water-resistant but not hydrophobic and during a heavy downpour, it may eventually let water through) and securing the seams. Then, for this price, you get good protection from rain for yourself and your backpack. Additionally – I am over 180 cm tall and the poncho reaches slightly below my knees, so it's also worth protecting your pants and shoes; otherwise, you could end up with wet calves and feet.

A solid poncho at a good price. The material is durable and robust. The WASP I Z3A camouflage is very effective. When unfolded, it can also serve as a small tarp or a shelter for temporary refuge.

The camouflage is truly excellent. It provides perfect protection against rain, which is key (sometimes you may notice a slight condensation on your back). Additionally, it holds warmth well. However, it is quite heavy and after about two hours of wearing it, you can definitely feel it.

The quality of workmanship is really very good. Although it's not the cheapest or the most expensive model, it serves its purpose. The cover makes it easy to fold and pack the poncho in a backpack.

Durable poncho made of coated material. Its actual waterproofness surpasses other ponchos and most tarps. It will perform well during heavy rainfall and can serve as a groundsheet under a tarp without fear of damage. The weight is relatively high, but it's a trade-off for sturdiness. Mil-Tec's camouflage really makes an impression! The poncho is carefully and solidly made. I've already tested it during heavy rain and it protected excellently against moisture. I definitely recommend it, even though the price is quite high.

Very good quality poncho, well made from rubberized material. It should last a long time. 100% waterproof. When folded, it’s a bit heavy, but it’s worth having a durable product that works during a downpour.

It is indeed twice as heavy as standard models, but its waterproofness and durability significantly exceed those of lighter versions. It will successfully serve many times as a groundsheet under a tarp or a makeshift bivy. I definitely recommend this product and the Militaria.pl store.

After testing it in the rain, I can confirm that the poncho effectively protects against water and wind – it does not get soaked through. However, it does get quite warm inside when moving around, but that's the trade-off. I recommend it.

A very functional and versatile poncho. It worked great as a canopy in a mobile photo hide during heavy rainfall and during the winter thaw. I also used it as a tarp wall to close it from the back.
