Camouflage Flecktarn
Flecktarn, introduced for the Bundeswehr in 1990, is a classic German military camouflage pattern. It consists of small, irregular spots in five hues—typically dark green, olive, brown, black, and beige. The distribution of numerous dots and blurred lines between the colors allow Flecktarn to effectively distort the wearer's silhouette in forest areas, as well as in scrubland or against forest undergrowth, making it difficult to detect. This camouflage was specifically designed for European climate conditions, particularly the temperate zone. Flecktarn continues to be a standard issue for the German army, along with other military and law enforcement personnel. Its success has led to the creation of numerous variations and adaptations in other countries.

Very nice hat, fits great on the head. I bought it to match other items in the same camouflage pattern. The size matches the measurements given in the table. Cheap, breathable boonie hat. The three-layer construction works well in the rain, but on hot and dry days this may be a bit of a compromise. It's worth cleaning it regularly, as the trilaminate material gets dirty easily. At this price, it's hard to find a better option. It offers comfort and functionality.
