I use these gaiters in the fall and winter. They have steel cables, but I don’t use them. They are easy to put on thanks to strong Velcro, which holds well. They are not suitable for warmer months, as they make your legs hot. In exceptional situations, you can use them in the summer. I recommend buying them.

Gaiters crafted from a three-layer laminate. The first layer consists of 96% polyester combined with 4% elastane, the second layer is a breathable polyurethane membrane, and the third layer is polyester with a 100% PU coating. They offer water resistance of 5000 mm/m2 and a breathability rate of 500 g/m2.
These gaiters are designed to shield the legs and boot uppers from snow and rain. Ideal for uniformed personnel, rescue workers, forestry staff, trekking enthusiasts, hunters, and anglers. In dry environments, they also guard against dust and sand.
The inside of the ankle section of the gaiter is fortified with soft material, enhancing thermal comfort in cold weather.
The design facilitates quick and comfortable donning with full adjustability. The gaiter is secured at the front using Velcro. A widened patch at the top prevents accidental detachment. Steel hooks attached to the laces ensure proper tongue coverage.
An adjustable steel cord beneath the sole maintains a stable hold on the foot, offering a snug fit. An elastic drawstring with a stopper prevents the gaiters from slipping off.

Very good product for warmer days, they are light and thin, so probably won't work well in winter. The Velcro holds firmly and they don’t slip off the leg. They rustle a little while walking, but it does not cause discomfort. I have no complaints about their breathability.

I used them during SERE B – they worked great, others had soaked shoes while mine only started leaking on the third day, and from another spot. There is a hook for the shoelace, but it often slides off, yet overall they hold well. Sometimes the wire under the sole loosens and dangles, but doesn't fall out – you just need to push it back in. The Velcro, although loud, holds well. They are not insulated, they are thin, intended rather for warmer weather, although they could be more breathable.

The size is very appropriate, nice color, they hold well. The downside is the installation of the steel cables, which are not secured in any way and often fall out – I have already lost one.
