Precision prismatic compass housed in an aluminum case. The floating dial accurately indicates direction, enabling the use of the compass while either running or marching.
The prismatic compass serves as a bearing compass through the utilization of a special front sight and rear sight, while also functioning as a map compass via the side graduations on the opening case. It is designed after the original compasses deployed by the US Army.
