The elbows are well protected, sometimes you need to adjust the straps, but that's normal for pads. I recommend!

I bought them with big events in mind – they do their job perfectly, don't slip, and are easy to adjust. Highly recommend. I even put them on over a fleece and jacket, but they might be too small for very large hands.
