Woodland Camouflage

Woodland, also known as US Woodland or M81, is a classic camouflage pattern adopted by the U.S. military in the early 1980s. Modeled after the earlier ERDL camouflage, it was standard for the U.S. military for over twenty years until the end of the first decade of the 21st century. This pattern is characterized by large, irregular patches in shades of green, brown, beige, and black, providing excellent masking and distortion properties, especially in forested terrain. Due to its effectiveness and global recognition, it has been adopted in numerous variations in over 60 uniformed formations worldwide. The Woodland pattern has also strongly influenced popular culture, transitioning from military applications to everyday fashion.

    It looks aesthetic, but it often comes off. It’s best to put something under it or secure the ends so it holds better. It doesn’t stick by itself, so it’s hard to wrap and you have to cut it into strips.
