I was unsure before buying, but the comments convinced me, and I wasn’t disappointed. The material is sturdy, and it comfortably fits a notebook, 2 pens, a map protractor, and even a folded map. It would only be too big for a thermos, but otherwise it’s perfect.

Great cover. There is enough space on the sides to fit a tactical pen, pencil, two multitools, and plenty of other small items. Inside, there are two compartments for notebooks, so you can put in two copies. I use the Rite in the Rain 3x5" notebook. Highly recommend.
