Let me clarify right away – this is not a watertight container, but water-resistant. This means that if left in the rain it likely will not let water in, but it won't guarantee complete sealing – a rubber gasket would help. The plastic closed with clasps in four places does not provide full protection against water, but at this price you get a practical, handy box where you can store medicines, money, matches or other small items – at the bottom of a backpack or bag they'll stay dry as long as the whole thing doesn't get wet. I plan to try making a gasket from a rubber band – maybe then the container will be truly watertight. Four stars due to incorrect description.

Durable box with a solid closure using four clasps. It is quite spacious – easily fits a starter kit like a flint, bark, kindling, etc. Especially recommended at this attractive price.

Very useful gadget, no unnecessary extras, roomy. I don't recommend it for swimming, but it protects well against splashes. Three sides close with clasps, the fourth is a plastic hinge—it probably won't survive thousands of openings, but for this price—there's nothing to complain about.

The main description is a bit misleading, because it says waterproof, but only below it is clarified that it is water-resistant, not waterproof. The look itself suggests it is not waterproof, but for me, it's enough that it protects against moisture—I don't plan to test this.

The product does not match the description. According to the specification, the container should be waterproof, but in practice it is not – after short immersion it fills with water. It can serve as a ‘survival box,’ but I do not recommend it for items that need to stay dry.

Very cool and cheap box. Fits in every backpack. I bought it for my own survival kit. I always have it in my backpack and it’s already come in handy more than once ;) I recommend it!

It’s a good choice for a fire starting kit, medicines, or various small items. There usually isn’t space in a backpack for small things – they get lost. In one box you can fit matches, a small BIC, a larger flint, a piece of resinous wood, a button compass, and lots of other stuff. However, I’d be cautious about its above-average water resistance.
