My main criticism is that the collar around the neck is quite wide, so it does not sit close and without proper support hardly protects the neck from the wind. In that case, better to go without a collar right away..

I tested it, and at temperatures above 0°C it is easily sufficient as the only layer under a jacket, and when it gets frosty, I add a fleece and that combination works perfectly. The zip-neck design also deserves praise, because during more intense exertion, the breathability of the material alone, based on ventilation through channels between the insulating panels, may prove insufficient. The thumb holes are also a practical feature, making it easier to put on additional layers of clothing.

Weak. The material is decent, the fleece has an interesting waffle pattern. However, the sweatshirt is made a bit unimaginatively, so it looks like a sackcloth – surprisingly easy to put on. The biggest downside is the collar, which is so wide that it barely warms the neck and doesn't protect against the wind at all. Honestly, at this price, it's suitable at best for construction work. No other uses.

The MFH US Level II GEN III - Black thermal shirt has a very pleasant outer layer to the touch. The zipper could be a little shorter, but the current length may make it easier to put on and can also be useful for quick cooling. I definitely recommend it.

Great product, but be aware that it runs very small. Take one size above your usual size, otherwise it's truly wonderful – you feel warmth as soon as you put it on, really top-notch.

The T-shirt is very warm and comfortable. During 6 degrees of frost with wind, I wore it under a thin jacket as the only layer and it worked great. The only downside for me is that the sleeves are too short – when I want to use the thumbholes, the sleeves stretch a lot. Maybe it’s because of the size M, which I normally wear (I am 180 cm tall), but apart from the sleeves, the shirt fits perfectly. I will probably buy a second set soon, this time I will choose size L.
