I bought it in November last year and tested it during the winter. I’m deliberately posting this review only after the season, once it had a real chance to prove its usefulness. It came in handy several times, because the winter of 2025/26 was quite snowy. I kept it in the trunk for everyday use and used it more than once to clear snow off the car. Thanks to its compact design and low weight, I also attached it to my backpack during winter hikes and camping trips. It performed very well, although to fully satisfy me, it needed a small modification. The way the aluminum part was connected to the handle was fairly annoying to me — once assembled, it did its job, but it rattled and felt not very sturdy. I removed the aluminum locking ring, drilled through the metal clamps and the handle, and then fastened the whole thing together with a proper bolt. That was exactly what I needed — now the tool feels durable and dependable. Given its small size, I don’t even see the need to fold it. I definitely recommend this entrenching tool.

A great solution for storage in the trunk, it can come in handy during unexpected snowfall. It is lightweight and doesn't take up much space. Well made. I definitely recommend it.
