Camouflage Flecktarn

Flecktarn is a timeless German military camouflage design, officially adopted by the Bundeswehr in 1990. This pattern is composed of small, irregular spots in five colors—typically dark green, olive, brown, black, and beige. The pattern's combination of numerous dots and blurred boundaries between colors makes Flecktarn highly effective at obscuring the wearer's silhouette in forest environments, as well as in brush or against a backdrop of forest undergrowth. The camouflage was crafted for European weather conditions, particularly those of the temperate zone. Even today, Flecktarn remains a standard pattern used by the German army and by military and police forces worldwide. Its efficiency has led to the creation of numerous versions and adaptations in other nations.

    This liner is actually quite good. For an MFH product, it is solidly made and looks neat. Sure, it differs from the original, but the price is very attractive. If someone does not need the original version and is looking for a decent blanket and a warming poncho liner as a substitute for a sleeping bag, it is definitely worth considering. It does its job well and does not put too much strain on the budget.
