I've been using this stove for 3 years and haven't found a better one. It's worth adding thicker wood after starting the fire, as it keeps heat longer. Great for a frying pan, secondary gas combustion reduces smoke and sooting. You can use gel or an alcohol burner. The design means it doesn't lose efficiency like other stoves—the flame only goes through a sort of chimney. Definitely recommend.

Very nice 'modular' stove, perfect for bushcraft. With the right spacing, it is stable and works perfectly. Easy to carry. Solid construction, will last for years.

I honestly recommend it, the stove is very solidly made. Unfortunately, if you add a mess kit and other items, the backpack becomes heavy. But obviously durability and quality must weigh something. Despite that, the stove is really great!

A liter of water in a kettle boiled in 7 minutes. Dry wood completely burned to fine white ash. Once ignited, the flame resembles the intensity of a gas burner.

Very good quality stove. It doesn't smoke when heating a kettle, unlike folding square models. Sometimes the flame looks like it's from a gas cartridge—it's very strong. It produces a large fire, useful not just for cooking, but also for heating yourself.
