The diamond pen-style sharpener features a diamond-coated carbon steel rod. The rod is conically shaped on one side for honing the serrated edges of knives, while the other side is cylindrical with a groove and flat back for sharpening fishing hooks.

Included is an aluminum case that doubles as a handle. A locking nut enhances stability during use. A spring clip is provided for easy handling.
