You have to take a deep breath and blow hard to make it whistle. The pendant/ring is probably the weakest part, it’s worth replacing it. You can leave a card with a child’s data inside, close it so nothing gets wet. It’s a useful product for safety, in case the child gets lost.

The whistle is very loud, which is an advantage. The keychain and the option to unscrew it are a plus. You can use the included card to put your details inside. However, I give one star less because you have to blow hard to get that powerful sound – it might be too difficult for children.

It's fine for adults, but I don't recommend it for children – you need to blow quite hard for the whistle to work, so a child might not manage. However, it's loud, solid, and there’s space to write personal details.

Whistle without a ball, designed so that it doesn't require much force to blow. It produces a loud, clear, high-pitched sound that can be heard from afar and is very distinctive. The large, non-slip handle makes it easier to hold the whistle in stressful situations or for people who are cold or have difficulty with motor skills. Very well made, lightweight and aluminum, so it’ll last a long time – can’t easily break it. Most importantly, it whistles well and has eyelets for attaching – mine hangs on a Mil-Tec lanyard with a carabiner, looks great together. Plus for the note card inside. I recommend, in my opinion, it’s better to invest in aluminum than plastic, because it’ll last longer.

Although it’s a simple gadget, it’s very practical. Helps scare off and comes in handy for signaling and locating from afar. There’s space inside for contact info – especially important if you give the whistle to a child. Well made, compact. No doubt it’s worth having. I recommend!

Lightweight whistle with space for a card with personal details inside. Unfortunately, it’s not very sensitive – you have to try, take a big breath, and blow hard, especially when you’re already tired.

The quality is okay, but the sticker may come off over time—the corners started peeling right at the start. The ring and chain are rather delicate and thin. The compartment can hardly fit more than the included note. The whistle isn’t small, bigger than I thought. To make it really loud, you have to blow harder.

The whistle serves its function, I see no reason to complain ;) It works as it should, and people looking for flaws will find them everywhere ;) It's a simple and inexpensive thing that's worth having. I recommend it.

A decent, though not excellent whistle. Rather for adults, because you need quite a bit of force to blow it, and kids with small lungs might have trouble. Still, it's worth having a whistle like this at hand – it can help if you end up in an unfamiliar place and want someone to hear you.
