The chemical light is designed for single use. Its functionality is based on a chemical reaction triggered when two chemical solutions mix. To initiate the reaction, the tube must be bent and then shaken thoroughly. This shaking causes the solutions to interact and emit light. The reaction process is entirely safe.

Very good chemical light, especially useful during night games and outdoor play. The only thing missing is hooks that would let you hang them. I recommend it.

I turned on the green one, and indeed, as described – it's more of a "light" than a source of illumination, don't expect miracles; good as a place marker, for evening bonfires or grilling in the forest, to mark your grandchild; okay.
