These sandals are very helpful in the summer when you want “normal shoes,” but also want your feet to breathe. They fit securely, not like beach flip-flops, and you can really walk in them all day—around the city, on walks, on trips. The sole holds up well; it's fine to walk on dirt and small stones, plus the black color is versatile and doesn't look strange. The convertible feature is handy: you can quickly adjust them for yourself, and if needed, secure your foot more reliably. However, if you walk a long time with the heel open, sometimes you feel that your foot “moves” a bit, so for long distances I make the fit tighter. One more thing—if there’s a lot of dust or sand, the straps can rub a little, especially in the first few days until they are broken in. Overall, a very good option for the heat, when you want comfort, proper support, and to be able to walk both around the city and on easy trails.
