Mechanix Wear Pursuit D5 Cut-Resistant Gloves - Black
Black tactical gloves designed for professional soldiers, special forces operators, and other uniformed services. Thanks to their high cut resistance, they are ideal for performing demanding tasks.
TrekDry, spandex and armortex material
The model is made from breathable TrekDry fabric and synthetic leather, ensuring a secure grip and minimizing the risk of slipping on wet surfaces. The addition of spandex in the Armortex fabric allows the gloves to fit snugly around the hand while maintaining freedom of movement.
touchscreen operation, cut resistance
The synthetic leather palm surface allows for touchscreen operation on smartphones and tablets without the need to remove the gloves. The inner layer of the palm side is made from a cut-resistant material (CE Level 5 Cut Resistance). The cuff is secured with a Velcro strap for a better fit.
ANSI/ISEA 105-XA5X and EN388-3X43D standards
The gloves meet the American protective standard ANSI/ISEA 105 Level XA5X in terms of resistance to cuts, abrasion, and puncture, which means:
- X: abrasion resistance (scale from 1 to 6)
- A5: cut resistance (scale from A1 to A9)
- X: puncture resistance (scale from 0 to 5)
The gloves comply with the protective standard EN388 at level 3X43D for mechanical hazard resistance, which means:
- 3: abrasion resistance (scale 0–4)
- X: circular blade cut resistance (scale 0–5)
- 4: tear resistance (scale 0–4)
- 3: puncture resistance (scale 0–4)
- D: TDM cut resistance (ISO 13997) (scale A–F)
In the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard, abrasion resistance is rated from 1 to 6 and refers to the number of cycles a material can withstand before wearing out. Cut resistance is classified on a scale from A1 to A9 (from the lowest to the highest protection level). Puncture resistance is rated on a scale from 0 to 5 and indicates the force required to puncture the glove’s surface with a sharp probe (does not include needle punctures).
The EN388 standard scales define glove protection levels: a value of 0 means no protection, while the highest values (4, 5) indicate maximum resistance.
For the TDM (ISO 13997) test method, letter markings are used, where A indicates the lowest and F the highest level of protection.
The X marking indicates that the parameter was not tested or is not applicable.

TrekDry is a modern material characterized by high breathability. It effectively wicks moisture away from the surface of the skin, which helps to keep it dry and thermally comfortable during intense physical activity. It fits to the shape of the hand, ensuring freedom of movement and increasing precision during various activities.
Armortex is a durable material that is highly resistant to abrasion, tearing and cutting. Its special synthetic fiber structure reinforces the areas most vulnerable to damage, and the special texture ensures better grip and a secure hold. It prevents the gloves from becoming wet in contact with water, oil or other liquids.
