In the category of tactical gloves, the FastFit by Mechanix is already a classic choice. They don’t have unnecessary reinforcements or protectors – they’re simply solid gloves. Inside, there’s synthetic leather, and the outside features a breathable material, which makes them perfect for summer. They fit well, so compared to wider models like M-Pact or Original, I recommend those with larger hands consider a bigger size.
Mechanix FastFit Tactical Gloves - Leather
Universal heavy-duty gloves created to provide basic mechanical protection. Thanks to the proper fit, they provide full grip control and do not hinder the performance of precise activities. They will prove useful for law enforcement personnel, military personnel, people who practice shooting sports, as well as during survival expeditions, work in an auto workshop, DIY or ASG games.
Breathable TrekDry form-fitting material
The upper part of the gloves is made from breathable, lightweight TrekDry Form-fitting material, which reduces hand sweating. The durable DuraHide leather, used for the gripping part, ensures high resistance during work with heavy tools or any tasks performed, e.g., on a construction site. The thumb and index finger are reinforced with an additional layer of material.
Cuff with ribbing
A wide cuff with a ribbing provides extra protection and keeps the gloves securely on the wrist. The entry opening is extra wide, making it easy to put on the glove.
ANSI/ISEA 105-4XX and EN388-4111X standards
The gloves meet the American protective standard ANSI/ISEA 105 at level 4XX for cut, abrasion, and puncture resistance, which means:
- 4: abrasion resistance (on a scale from 1 to 6)
- X: cut resistance (on a scale from A1 to A9)
- X: puncture resistance (on a scale from 0 to 5)
The gloves meet the protective standard EN388 at level 4111X for mechanical protection, which means:
- 4: abrasion resistance (on a scale from 0 to 4)
- 1: cut resistance (on a scale from 0 to 5)
- 1: tear resistance (on a scale from 0 to 4)
- 1: puncture resistance (on a scale from 0 to 4)
- X: cut resistance - TDM test (ISO 13997) (on a scale A-F)
In the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard, abrasion resistance is rated on a scale from 1 to 6 and refers to the number of cycles the material can withstand before wearing out. Cut resistance is classified on a scale from A1 to A9 (from the lowest to the highest level of protection). Puncture resistance is determined on a scale from 0 to 5 and indicates the force required to puncture the surface of the glove with a sharp point (does not apply to needle punctures).
The scales provided in the EN388 standard specify the level of protection for gloves: a value of 0 means no protection, while the highest values (4, 5) indicate the maximum level of resistance.
In the TDM test method (ISO 13997), letter designations are used, where A represents the lowest level of protection and F the highest.
The X marking indicates that the parameter has not been tested or is not applicable. The P marking indicates that the glove meets the requirements for impact protection.

Almost everything has already been said about these gloves, and a big advantage is that size XL fits larger hands without any problems. The promotional price is also very attractive.

The offer for 50 PLN is very attractive, and I was happy to take advantage of it. I chose the size based on finger length, which I consider the most important factor for gloves—they fit perfectly. The gloves look elegant and are slim (although they seem quite narrow). They can be used to operate touchscreens. They are not suitable for heavy physical work—for that, work gloves from a hardware store would be better. In my opinion, they work great as trekking gloves and are comfortable. The multicam color looks very attractive and stylish. Without a doubt, they catch envious glances.

The gloves are really comfortable and well made. They protect the hands well and are durable, but they have the downside that their interior quickly soaks up water.
-
At this price, the gloves are really very good. They are comfortable, well-made, and improve grip. However, you should remember that they won't work well when working in wet conditions, as they quickly soak up water.

For 12€ it's almost a gift. Typical Mechanix quality. Size M fits me perfectly, I have rather small hands. A must-have for every bushcrafter, can be used universally whether for working with wood or handling a hot pot. Clear purchase recommendation from me. Fast delivery, 2 days to Austria. Gladly again!!!

These are very high-quality gloves. Thanks to the elastic wrist cuff, they are quick and easy to put on. They fit snugly around the fingers and between them, providing excellent comfort when shooting and great trigger feel. They are also very durable. I owned a pair before, and they withstood extensive use with firearms, including live-fire sessions and countless dry-fire training exercises.
-
The gloves are very comfortable for everyday use – they're light, fit the hand well, and are easy to put on thanks to the elastic cuff. The materials are a plus, providing a secure grip and allowing for precise work, even on a phone without taking them off. They work well both at the shooting range, in the field, and during garage work. It's important to remember that they're better suited for light work – they may wear out more quickly during heavy-duty tasks. For this price, however, they are a really cost-effective option and can be easily recommended.

Apart from getting the wrong colour and the updated version they're a solid choice for a basic glove. I don't mind the darker brown rather than coyote but it was a surprise. I've used FastFit as my "go too glove" for many years and they usually wear out in a season (bushcrafting/hiking/dog sports). Fair prize for a fair product.

The gloves are comfortable and fit quite well on the hands. As for durability, it all depends on our expectations. They're great for the shooting range, but I wouldn't choose them for service because they're too thin and prone to puncture. However, the price is also very affordable.
-
These gloves work great during bushcraft or similar activities, mainly thanks to the durable artificial leather on the inner side. However, it's a pity that real leather was not used. The outer material does not provide good ventilation, even on hot days, and does not protect against sparking or similar hazards. However, they fit the hand very well and are comfortable to wear.
-
Very nice, lightweight glove. I use a total of five pairs in different colors and am very satisfied with each one. They fit very well and are meaningfully compatible with touch displays. For harsh winters, they are rather unsuitable, but otherwise, they are really great gloves with an excellent price-performance ratio.
-
Mechanix is synonymous with high quality – the company produces solid, durable gloves that work great both at the shooting range and during tactical operations. The material is resistant and dries quickly. I highly recommend them.
-
These are my first gloves, but I am somewhat disappointed; they don't fit perfectly even though the size is correct. The absence of velcro is also a letdown, and it feels like they might slip off. I think they won't last long.
-
They look great, and are very easy to put on and take off. However, I don't recommend them for heavier tasks. I used them for about a month and a half while working on furniture delivery, and unfortunately holes appeared in five fingers. I recommend them rather for lighter duties.
