The M-Tac Olive whistle fulfills its function effectively – it is loud and clearly audible. Unfortunately, there is a ball inside that makes noise while moving, so it won't work if you need discretion. If that doesn't bother someone, at this price it's really a good option. In the future, I'll probably choose a version without the ball.
