Camouflage MultiCam
MultiCam is an advanced camouflage pattern created in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as a part of the Objective Force Warrior program. The aim was to develop a versatile camouflage pattern effective across various terrains and adapting to changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern features seven colors, forming smooth transitions between shades of green, brown, and beige. Consequently, it adjusts dynamically to its surroundings, appearing green in forests and brown or beige in desert landscapes; in Central and Eastern European settings, it is particularly effective in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has attained global recognition and is employed by numerous military forces and special units. In 2010, the US Army officially adopted this camouflage pattern for soldiers deployed in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). This pattern is accessible to civilian users, making it a favored choice among military and airsoft enthusiasts.
