Camouflage MultiCam
MultiCam is an advanced camouflage design created in 2002 by Crye Precision, a US company, alongside the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs), as part of the Objective Force Warrior initiative. The aim was to develop a multi-functional camouflage pattern that would perform effectively across different terrains and under changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern includes seven colors, with gradient transitions among shades of green, brown, and beige. This allows it to adapt seamlessly to its surroundings, taking on green hues in forested zones or browns and beiges in desert landscapes—especially effective in Central and Eastern Europe during autumn or in dry vegetation areas. MultiCam has achieved global acclaim and is utilized by numerous military forces and special units. In 2010, the US Army officially adopted it as the camouflage for troops in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is accessible to civilians and is a favored option among military or airsoft fans.
