The pants are comfortable and seem to be durable and warm, but the chosen size was much too large. I followed the size chart and ordered XL, but in reality, even L would have been loose, and M would have been suitable. I recommend purchasing a size smaller than what you usually wear.

The pants are made of very high-quality materials, providing excellent warmth – at -13 degrees Celsius they are easily sufficient without the need for additional underwear. You can sit or lie down on snow or ice without worry; I use them during photo walks and they perform excellently. The only improvement I would suggest is a ventilation system on the sides to make it easier to regulate temperature. Indoors it gets too hot right away. I sincerely recommend them for truly cold days – as long as you don't plan on doing too much intensive activity.

I hesitated a lot before ordering these pants, especially because of the opinions about the sizing mismatch. I bought size S, and I'm 1.68 m tall and weigh 63 kg. They fit well at the waist but are a bit long for me. They can be shortened, or you can just roll them up exactly as shown in the photos without the model. I only noticed this detail now, after I rolled the pants inside and the hem is no longer visible, just like in the first pictures on the site. I noticed they look good this way too, and it might not even be necessary to sew them to keep them fixed like this. I think you could also sew them, with a double hem, without cutting, so the tightening cord appears at the bottom. In the photos with the model, you can see the pants are also long on the model, even though they fit well at the waist. Otherwise, the pants are really great, comfortable, Another aspect mentioned here refers to the belt loops, which are indeed very large, especially the one at the back, and they don't secure the pants tightly at the back, but this can be fixed by sewing along the belt line, which will make it as tight as needed so the belt stays firm at the back. I only noticed these details after buying the pants, and maybe it will help others in making a decision. Overall, I'm satisfied. For this money, I find them more comfortable than other similar pants from a sports brand, also size S, but those are tighter and have weird pockets.

These pants are warm, good workmanship for the price and somewhat close to the advertised size. The fabric is decently water and windprood and beltloops are decently large. However, for actual winter use they also have significant downsides that are impossible to ignore. First of all, the breathability is similar to that of a plastic bag. It just isn't there, which means during any kind of excercise(or just sitting indoors, stationary) you get really sweaty really fast. This leads me to believe the fabric has some sort of a membrane in it, even if the description doesn't mention it. Upper side and rear pockets are also open, with no possibility to close them, which means snow comes in and pocket contents go out in snowy conditions. I'll probably tape or sew these pockets shut if I keep using the pants. I'll keep the pair I have but wouldn't buy these again unless the breathability and pockets are addressed.

I bought the pants to try them out and they turned out to be so warm that I could wear them comfortably only at temperatures around -5°C—at higher temperatures, they were too warm for me, which proves their excellent thermal properties. For this price, I bought two more pairs, including one for my dad. I definitely recommend them!

High-quality winter pants. I haven't tested them in heavy rain, but they withstand wet snow, which we have for several days at a time: the inside stays dry and warm. The hardware is quality: the zippers work smoothly even after 2 weeks, and the pockets are roomy. The back is a bit extended, so there is less chance of getting your back cold when frequently bending over. For winter, in their price range, there are no competitors for this quality. Buy them – you won't regret it.

The pants are carefully made and provide comfort when worn. However, a downside is that the material is quite noisy and rustles, so people involved in nature photography or bird watching may find them only moderately suitable.

Very good pants, they are comfortable and warm – they work great for me. I wear them on my bike when it's +2 degrees, and I don't need any additional winter underwear (long johns). I also have an unusual job, as I spend long hours at ice rinks during sports competitions – sometimes even 16 hours a day, and in such conditions these pants also do the job. Highly recommended.

This is the second time I have bought these pants. Thanks to the insulation, they work great during colder days – I have tested them both in the mountains and by the cold sea. I wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone. It's just a pity that Helikon doesn't offer similar models.

You won't find anything better at this price. I needed warm pants because I was always cold and I'm not a fan of long johns ;) They are really very warm! When it was above zero, I didn't wear them because it was too hot. Great for outdoor activities, but hard to endure inside heated rooms :) Quality surprised me positively. Other brands offer similar products but for much more.
