Camouflage MultiCam
MultiCam, crafted by the US company Crye Precision in 2002 in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs), is an advanced camouflage pattern stemming from the Objective Force Warrior initiative. Its purpose is to offer a highly adaptable camouflage that performs well across varied terrains and shifting environmental settings. The MultiCam pattern features seven colors, forming seamless transitions among greens, browns, and beige shades. Consequently, it responds well to its surroundings, assuming green tones in wooded regions or brown and beige hues in arid landscapes—particularly excelling in Central and Eastern Europe during the autumn or among dry vegetation. MultiCam has achieved global acclaim and is utilized by numerous military forces and special units. In 2010, it was formally adopted by the US Army for troops deployed in Afghanistan, taking the place of the former Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). This pattern is also accessible to the civilian market and is favored by military and airsoft enthusiasts.
