M-Tac Gen II Horizontal Pepper Spray Holster - Black

The product description states that it "perfectly fits a gas cylinder with a maximum diameter of 75 mm," which isn't true and no one has checked this. The Sabre Frontiersman gas tank has a diameter of 53 mm and the rubber part of this holster is already extremely tight— in my opinion, that's the absolute limit. In practice, it doesn't look good, as it's even hard to remove the cylinder, let alone insert it. I suspect I know where this value came from — if you put two fingers inside the rubber loop and stretch it hard, you can reach about 7.5 cm. However, this doesn't translate to the diameter of the cylinder you can realistically fit in there, but only to half of its circumference; this is exactly the case with the Sabre.

The horizontal gas holster is a great choice – it doesn't restrict movement. You can easily fasten seat belts in the car: the lap belt under and the shoulder belt over the holster. I wear it in the front on the right side of my belt, hooked onto the first belt loop from the inside. The 63 ml gas is almost completely hidden, only the spray head sticks out. With my gas, the collar under the head, which makes it easier to grip, also allows you to draw the canister towards your body faster. The gas can be pulled out instantly, and you can set it in the holster so your thumb is immediately on the valve. I tried other gases of various sizes – they fit, but without a collar you have to squeeze the spray head firmly when removing, as the holster fits the shape very well and the gas won't fall out. A slight outline is visible under a sweatshirt, but it doesn't attract attention. It's completely invisible under a jacket. Be careful when raising your hand high, as the holster can then become exposed.

You can also attach it to a bike frame or handlebar. It fits gases of different heights as long as they have the same diameter. The canister can be pulled out faster than from a Velcro holster. The holster is well made, however the model for the 75ml Military gas turned out to be too big – the rubber is a bit too loose and the gas canister may fall out while being carried. The company accepts returns and the entire process went smoothly.
