MultiCam camouflage
MultiCam is a modern camouflage pattern, created in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision, in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to develop a universal camouflage pattern effective in various terrains and changing conditions.
The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors that create gradient transitions between green, brown, and beige, allowing it to adapt to the environment. It takes on green shades in forests, or browns and beiges in desert areas. In Central and Eastern Europe, it works particularly well in the autumn season and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained worldwide recognition and is used by numerous military forces and special units. In 2010, the U.S. Army officially adopted this camouflage for soldiers in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). It is also available to civilians, making it a popular choice among military and airsoft enthusiasts.
