MultiCam is an advanced camouflage pattern created in 2002 by the US company Crye Precision in partnership with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its objective was to develop a versatile camouflage pattern that is effective across diverse terrains and under varying environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern incorporates seven colors, forming gradient transitions between shades of green, brown, and beige. This allows it to seamlessly blend into its surroundings, reflecting green hues in forested regions or brown and beige tones in desert landscapes. It is especially effective in Central and Eastern European environments during autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has achieved global recognition and is utilized by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the US Army officially adopted this camouflage for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the former Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP).
