The MultiCam pattern, developed in 2002 by Crye Precision—a US-based company—in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs), was part of the Objective Force Warrior initiative. Particularly effective in Central and Eastern Europe's autumnal and dry vegetative areas, MultiCam has earned global recognition. It is employed by various armed forces and special units.
